Tuesday January 5th, 2010

Smithville, Missouri, USA

There has been a stillness in the air today with not a sound to disturb the peace. The setting sun turned the sky into a blend of the most delicate shades of blue and pink and apricot over the pristine landscape of frozen snow. As the sun sets the shadowed snow turns blue, at the horizon the sky has turned a delicate shell pink, thin clouds are delicate apricot against the palest of blue.

  1. This is drop dead gorgeous, Anita. How do you fight the urge to paint it?

  2. Thank you Karen.

Billie - its easy when you don't have any paints!
